BCG Easter Events

We’ve got two Easter-related events happening this year.

First up is an Easter Family Treasure Hunt on Thursday March 28 starting at Lake Sambell at 5pm.

Celebrate the end of term with a fun Easter Treasure Hunt on your bike. As a family, collect your stamps from all treasure hunt locations! Get your Easter treat at the end and enter a raffle to win great prizes!

Finish off the day playing with your friends and grab a sausage to fill your belly!

Please RSVP by 12 noon Wednesday 27 March via the Facebook event or by email to Chris Novak, Social Ride Coordinator –

Second, is a chance to be a part of Beechworth’s iconic Golden Horseshoes Festival parade.

This year, the Chain Gang is excited to announce that we are planning to enter the parade which will take place on Saturday 30th March.

To make this an amazing event, and to hopefully win back the title that we previously held in 2019, we are asking for your help. We would love to have as many club members as possible join us on the day. Can you imagine the sea of red, white and grey that would wash down Ford Street if we had anything close to our full membership get on board?

So ditch your place of employment or your kids’ school and get on board the only float worth being a part of this year 😉! To join us, we simply ask that you ride your bike very slowly down the street with us, wearing one of our club jerseys or t-shirts (a red top will be fine if you don’t have one) and help throw some Easter eggs into the crowd. Adults and children are all welcome.

If you are interested in joining in with the parade, please use this link to join the WhatsApp group that has been set up to co-ordinate details. Alternatively, contact Ross Baker on 0481 393 107.
