Monthly Working Bee – 10am Saturday 21st January @ Flame Trees

Please join us for our Monthly Working Bee for January.

We are hoping to do a bunch of grass cutting, tree clearing and branch pruning to allow us to reopen flame trees. Most of the trail once it enters the trees needs grass cutting, so if we can get 20 people to do one hour of whipper snipping it will make a massive difference, so please bring a brush cutter / whipper snipper if you have one, the club will provide fuel and chord. We will also need a few people to walk or ride the trail and trim back small overhanging branches and someone to do a lap with a chainsaw to clear fallen trees. There is a little bit of repair work required also in a couple of locations.

The club will host a BBQ post working bee at 12pm at the old Baarmutha train station site (start of Flame Trees), so please come along and do a bit to get this trail up and running again. Make sure you let us know you’re coming via email or the Facebook Event so we can cater appropriately.

Keep an eye on our socials, the meeting location will be advised closer to the day.
